Thoreau Announcements Submission Guidelines (26-27)

Thoreau Announcements is the weekly newsletter of the Thoreau PTG. 

What We Accept: 

• PTG, school, & district news, events, & initiatives

• Community events, fundraisers, drives, etc. 

• Recreation & enrichment opportunities for children offered by nonprofit and youth sports organizations within the Concord-Carlisle community. For-profit organizations may submit up to 2 announcements per school year for qualifying opportunities. We do not publish individual services offered by for-profit businesses including tutoring, photography, or private lessons.

• Non-partisan information on town meetings, forums, elections, etc.

When & How to Submit: 

• Deadline: 9AM on Friday for the following Thursday newsletter

• Send submissions to the Editor at thoreauannouncements@gmail.com

• Submissions must be sent as text in an email

• Include contact info/website link

• All images/flyers must be in .png or .jpg format

• Limit submissions to 100 words or fewer. 

Longer submissions may be edited or posted in full on the PTG website and linked from the newsletter. Acceptance of submissions is at the discretion of the Thoreau PTG Executive Board. For-profit organizations are encouraged to participate in the Directory Sponsorship program, which includes advertisements in the newsletter.

THOREAU PTG PIE-A-THON!

Order now through Sunday, November 15

The PTG has again partnered with Concord Teacakes for our annual Pie-A-Thon Fundraiser! Pies are $20.99 each and all proceeds directly benefit the PTG. Options include apple, blueberry, pecan, pumpkin, and apple crisp. Order your delicious holiday pies for pickup on Tuesday, 11/24 or Wednesday, 11/25. Pickup details to be communicated at a later date.
